In true "it makes for a great story now" fashion, the day before my husband proposed to me we got into the biggest argument to date. After an amazing dinner we were sitting at the top of a picturesque spot in Austin and I was SO confused when he didn't pop the question... so the tears and confusion started flowing for quite a few minutes from my tormented little heart. After a few moments of silence my man gently and brightly asked, "So.... whats your favorite flavor of cotton candy?" It made me laugh, and of course, the next day he proposed to me - his plan all along... And now that question is our favorite way to diffuse any crazy tension in the room!
