COMMISSIONS
How can I purchase one of your paintings?
I release Collections a few times a year, as well as open up for Preorders (semi-custom work) every few months. To be notified when new work is available, sign up for my Collector's List newsletter! No spam, ever. Promise.
Do you take commissions?
I am not taking commissions at the moment. You can sign up for my newsletter here to be notified of upcoming Collections and Preorder releases!
How long do paintings take to be completed?
From concept, to painting, to fully dried, anywhere from 1-4 months. This includes drying time for both oil paints and varnish, so that shipping will be safe for your painting.
What supplies do you use?
I use oil paints as my primary medium, with the occasional acrylic base. Most paintings are done on stretched canvas pieces, with the occasional solid birch panels. (These will be marked and explained in each item's description.)
How are your paintings finished?
All paintings are finished using an essential-oil based, semi-gloss varnish.
SHIPPING
What is the shipping process?
All original paintings are shipped via UPS, carefully and lovingly packed in a box. You will receive a tracking number and will be notified once your painting has been shipped.
All prints are shipped via USPS. Smaller prints are shipped flat, while larger ones are shipped rolled in a mailer tube.
I live in Austin, TX, can I pick up my painting?
Yes! My Austin, TX customers can use the code "ATXPickUp" to let me know you'll come pick it up instead of waiting for it to ship out. I will contact you after your order is placed to arrange a time for you to come pick up your painting.
RETURNS
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of our small, fine art business we are not able to accept returns of original artwork, prints, or gift shop items unless damaged in shipping. If so, please contact the studio directly at hello@michelleboydstudio.com.
