Our grass was still green and lush, and our crepe myrtles were still in bloom with their fluffy pink flowers. I remember creating this piece on what felt like the first real Texas summer day, when I had to don shorts and blast the A/C all day. A friend's "sounds of summer" playlist was keeping me company, and eventually inspired the name of this piece - one of my favorite, big, and chunky abstract babies to date! 

30x30" original oil painting on 2" deep wood panel. Sides are painted white. Painting is varnished with a semi-gloss finish, and is signed and dated on the back. Easy to hang with its' open wood back - a simple nail or photo frame hanger will work just great.
